5 St. Louis Venues That Shine In The Early Spring

Early spring in St. Louis is one of my favorite times of year to photograph weddings. The air turns crisp, the trees begin to bud, and the light feels soft and romantic. If you’re planning a March or April wedding, here are my top St. Louis wedding venues that absolutely shine in early spring.

1. The Noble

With its warm brick, soaring windows, and modern-meets-classic architecture, The Noble photographs beautifully year-round — but spring light makes it magical. The bright indoor spaces are ideal if weather is unpredictable, and the neighborhood architecture is perfect for portraits.

2. Silver Oaks Chateau

Spring brings fresh greenery and softness to the grounds, making Silver Oaks one of the dreamiest choices for early-season weddings. The cobblestone paths, wooded backdrops, and charming French-inspired design give us endless portrait locations.

3. Piper Palm House

Tower Grove Park comes alive in early spring, and the Palm House offers perfect bright, airy light even before the trees fully bloom. Inside, the greenhouse windows create a backdrop that feels like a breath of fresh air and is a beautiful choice for portraits or ceremonies.

4. The Wild Carrot

The Wild Carrot combines exposed brick, neutral tones, and bright natural light — perfect for spring weddings with modern charm. The neighborhood surrounding the venue is full of character, giving us flexibility for both indoor and outdoor portraits depending on weather.

5. Sunflower Hill Farms

This is an incredible pick if you want a venue that maximizes their greenery and florals for each growing season. They are very intentional about landscaping in order to set up their venue to shine during every part of the year. For example - they have daffodils popping up there in early spring, so you have color really early in the year!

If you’re planning an early spring wedding, these St. Louis wedding venues will give you bright light, beautiful textures, and flexibility.
